Worship

There is a daily act of worship for all KS1 and KS2 pupils and staff at 10.15 am. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we worship together in the Hall. On Wednesday each class worships in their own room.

On Fridays, we have a family service to which parents, carers and the Green Meadows Foundation class children are invited. Friday sevice begins at 9.10am and finishes at about 9.30am.

Each Friday, a different class leads the act of worship, accompanied by Reverend John Stone, who leads us in prayer. During the spring term 2009 there will be a slight change in that class presentations will temporarily cease and Friday worship will be celebrating 'star pupils'.Parents and carers are still welcome to join us.

From time to time we are visited by Reverend Ray, a methodist minister who now lives in Cornwall. Reverend Ray introduced to the school to the charity C.R.Y and each year we help him to raise funds to improve the lives of children in other countries, particularly in the former eastern bloc. The children love to hear about Reverend Ray's visits to other countries.

Green Meadows children say a prayer together every day just before they come to lunch.
