Parents & Carers
At Bampton School we are very keen to work with parents and carers to help improve the educational and pastoral opportunities that we offer to our pupils.
We are pleased to be able to welcome you as volunteers in class and for special activities on a regular or occasional basis. There are all sorts of ways you can help in school, such as:
- helping to keep the library tidy
- listening to children read or reading to groups of children
- helping with arts and crafts activities
- helping at after-school clubs
- coming to give a talk about your work, a hobby or about something special
- helping at sports day
We often have volunteers in the younger classes but people rarely volunteer to work with older pupils - your support would be very much welcomed in Red and Blue classes as well.
Of course we realise that many of you work or have younger children to care for and so cannot commit to working in school time.
You can also support your children by becoming a member of the PTFA and helping at the many fundraising and social activities that the PTFA organise for the benefit of all children. Even if you are not able to attend PTFA meetings, it may be that you can help at some of the events they organise - the PTFA will always be happy to add to their team of helpers.
